The process has been simplified so that application is simple and quick. We are trying to move away from paper-based applications.
Applicants complete the online form here:

There is also a link to the form on the Volunteering Page of the GTDT website.
If necessary, a member of staff helps them with the online application. Alternatively, the applicant completes a paper form and a member of staff copies the information onto the online form.
Applicants then attend an informal interview during which a GTDT staff member completes further details.
Criminal conviction information is only requested if the applicant wishes to volunteer on children's or vulnerable adult activities.
